Innovation policy (version 1.0)

On Sun, July 6, 2008, in Laws old and new , Notifications , by Ernesto Belisario

Last Thursday, together with some friends, we presented the ' Institute for Policy Innovation in a very interesting roundtable held as part of the VII Conference on Electronic Administrative Law . At the event were provided by representatives of the institutions, the most important multinational innovation, consumers, associations of entrepreneurs.

All work confirmed the validity of the reasons that led us to establish the Institute: Innovation is a common good but in our country lacks policies and consistent series .
The Institute (non-partisan and independent) is to study the issues of innovation from every possible angle of view (legal, information technology, economic and sociological), collect stimuli from the academic world as the business world, providing opportunities for discussion, dialogue and collaboration between companies, institutions and civil society and, therefore, to formulate proposals to the Government and Parliament, ideas and suggestions for the management of innovation policy that allows the country to seize the opportunities that new technologies offer.

The Institute sought to immediately revitalize the debate on innovation in Italy through a first contribution: the document " Innovation policy ". This is version 1.0, released for open debate and open to all suggestions, criticisms and suggestions for those who want to collaborate with their time and talents to innovation policy.

Moreover, like Voltaire , I think the most useful documents, like books, are those in which "readers do half the work themselves: they penetrate the thoughts that are presented to them in germ, what seems to them to correct defective strengthen with their reflections what seems to them weak. "

The results are then presented which will arrive in a new national conference on innovation policy to be held next autumn.

  1. I do not know if I can call it a contribution to the start of a dialogue "significant" and constructive innovation on .. the intention I have it from time immemorial .. But now comes only as a post on the Web and Knowledge .

I hope that the developments of this initiative to help me understand how I can improve.

    Good job!
