Over the last few months there has been much talk of the Decree of the Minister for Cultural Assets and Activities December 30, 2009 on "fair compensation for private copying" under copyright law.

Well, after the concerns advanced by experts and users and having already seen the first increases in electronic products , some major IT companies and major Italian consumer groups over the next few days will turn to the judges to ask that it be declared unconstitutional - that seems obvious - the so-called Bondi Decree.

Multiple profiles on the illegality of the measure, then, the judges will decide who will decide whether the industry and consumers will actually resign Italians pay for this yet another "tax", the amount of which is about 100 million euros a year.

However, pending a ruling that the Judiciary would be expedient to suspend the effectiveness of the same, especially considering the adverse effect that his application could cause the market and consumers. This is more than 8 million a month, money that citizens, users and consumers may be paying - in a completely non-transparent - when purchasing a multitude of consumer electronics products (such as mobile phones , decoder, console). The Italian IT industry, for its part, is a condition of substantial impasse: the orders of the products are, where possible, be suspended pending the fate of the decree, the establishment of new price lists will be delayed as well as, more in general, that of business and marketing plans for 2010.

For this reason the ' Institute for Political Action dell'Innov has garden Additional signatures to a request for a moratorium to the Minister Bondi , to suspend the effectiveness of the new regulations until the decision of the administrative judges, continuing, together with the previous one (which, however, ensured Italian audiovisual industry, in 2008 alone, to collect more than 60 million euros).

Anyone can join the moratorium request, spreading it on your blog or your site, or by supporting the "cause" on Facebook by clicking here .

Stay tuned :)
