Over the last few times I am asked more often to speak (and write) of the 'use of Web 2.0 and social networks in the legal profession, this is a topic that already have treated on this blog , in some meetings and I attempted to address as part of a ' survey conducted by ' Osservatorio Permanente Giovani Lawyers established at the National Bar Council, which will be my pleasure to present the 9th of July, in Bari, in 2010 LexExpo .
Of all the social networks to which they are written, is certainly the most useful professionally LinkedIn and therefore with pleasure that I agreed to tell my experience (some excerpts were published by ItaliaOggi of June 25, 2010 in an article that I report below) .
In particular, I was asked to give some tips to all colleagues who want to use this tool in their business profitably, here are my "five commandments":
1. Fill out your profile at least two languages ... and keep it updated!
2. Invite all your contacts to be part of your network, but custom invitations, reminding people that write on what occasion did you meet;
3. Join groups and participate in discussions, you will really demonstrate your expertise to potential customers;
4. Pay attention to your privacy and your customers, undisclosed information that must remain secret;
5. Use LinkedIn for your business, but making sure to always follow the rules of ethics .
great advice
@ Catepol thanks, that means I have learned a lot from you
